πWhat the flashcards look like
When you first see the flashcards ποΈ, they are displayed like this:
This particular bundle has three themes. Each theme will have:
- a vocabulary set
- an example sentence set
- a bonus advanced questions set

At the top of every set, you can see four modes:
π What you can do in Flashcards mode
In the Flashcards mode, you can read and study the words and definitions. Click the card to βͺοΈflipβ©οΈ between the vocabulary and the definition.
You can also click the play icon βΆοΈ to let the flashcards flip and advance automatically. This is perfect for multitasking. The best way to use this mode is to download the Quizlet app on the App Store or Google Play Store. And then set the device down beside you while you do the dishesπ½οΈ, exercise π΄πΎor eatπ.
Click the Options button to customise the mode. You can:
- sort the cards to focus on important vocabulary,
- study only starred/favourited words,
- change which side of the card is the prompt and the answer,
- switch on/off the audio.
π What you can do in Learn mode
In the Learn mode, you can be more active in the learning process by answering questions.
You can customise your learning experience by clicking Options.
π What you can do in Test mode
In the Test mode, you can challenge your knowledge by:
- choosing answers from multiple options,
- answering true or false questions,
- matching terms with the definitions,
- typing in answers.
The test can be printed onto paper or saved as a PDF.
Submit your test and see the results. Follow the suggested steps and try reviewing questions that you missed.
π What you can do in Match mode
In the Match mode, you can play a game of matching the vocabulary and definitions against a timerβ³.

Quizlet is a spaced repetition tool that is best used consistently. It is recommended for you to try study using Quizlet 20-30 minutes per session with rests in between.

Try memorising 150 sentences from the example sentence flashcards (set 1.2, set 2.2, and set 3.2) in 28 days. It is doable when:
- you surround yourself with Malay content (YouTube, TV, music) and other Malay speakers,
- you listen and say out loud everything you hear from the flashcards,
- and use every mode available in Quizlet.
